UFC Fight Night arrives Saturday at Meta APEX in Las Vegas with a ranked bantamweight main event and a ranked women’s bantamweight bout that keeps the division’s ladder moving under Kayla Harrison’s already-booked first defense.
The main event
Raul Rosas Jr. (#12) meets Raoni Barcelos (#13) in the bantamweight main event on Sat., Sep. 26. UFC.com lists the card at Meta APEX with a main-card start of 8 p.m. ET. For Rosas, it is his first time headlining a UFC event. Form color from UFC’s early-September “The 10” package still frames him as a young streak fighter and Barcelos as a veteran who has been winning in bunches — useful context, not a prediction.
Neither man is fighting for the title. Petr Yan’s first defense remains the trilogy rematch with Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 333 on Oct. 24. Saturday is ranked ladder business at the top of an APEX card, five days out.
The women’s bantamweight piece
On the prelims, Norma Dumont (#4) faces Ailin Perez (#5) in a ranked women’s bantamweight bout. That fight sits under the title picture already set for November: Harrison vs. Amanda Nunes co-mains Polymarket UFC 334 at Madison Square Garden on Nov. 14. Dumont–Perez is ladder movement between two ranked contenders. It is not an announced title eliminator, and it should not be read as one.
Strawweight depth on the same bill
