Fight week is open for UFC Fight Night on Saturday, Oct. 10 at Meta APEX in Las Vegas. UFC.com’s event page bills Brendan Allen vs. Christian Leroy Duncan as the middleweight main event, with the main card listed for 8:00 p.m. EDT and the prelims for 5:00 p.m. EDT on Paramount+.
It is a ranked, non-title main event. Sean Strickland remains middleweight champion on UFC.com rankings. No title fight appears on the Oct. 10 card.
What changed Tuesday
Updated Oct. 6: UFC.com’s event page has reshuffled the running order. Julius Walker vs. Gerald Meerschaert (light heavyweight), listed on the main card earlier in the week, now opens the prelims. The main card is down to five bouts.
No bout has been added or removed — the event page still lists the same 12 fights, with no cancellation or replacement language. UFC.com did not give a reason for the move. As of Tuesday evening, the running order had not changed again.
Updated Oct. 6, evening: UFC.com’s media-panel rankings were updated Tuesday, Oct. 6, for the first time since Sept. 29. The update leaves Allen, Duncan and Loopy Godinez where they were. One fighter on this card is newly ranked: Daria Zhelezniakova enters the media-panel women’s bantamweight list at No. 15, and the event page now bills her No. 15 for her prelim against Alice Pereira.
UFC.com’s Fight By Fight Preview, published Monday, grouped the card differently: Walker–Meerschaert on the main card and Andre Fili vs. Kai Kamaka III on the prelims. MMA.news follows the event page, which as of Tuesday afternoon has Fili–Kamaka on the main card and Walker–Meerschaert on the prelims. If the order moves again, we will update.
Main event: Allen vs. Duncan — middleweight
Allen is No. 4 on UFC.com’s media-panel middleweight rankings and No. 5 on the Meta board; Duncan is No. 10 on both (media panel updated Tuesday, Oct. 6; Meta Saturday, Oct. 3). UFC.com lists a Middleweight Bout — not a title bout and not an eliminator by billing. Both fighters’ UFC.com athlete pages list Allen vs. Duncan as their upcoming fight.
The promotion has also pushed free-fight packaging into the week: Full Fight replays of Allen vs. Reinier De Ridder and Duncan vs. Marco Tulio sit on the UFC.com news index as Oct. 10 promo.
Main card on the event page (five bouts)
- Brendan Allen vs. Christian Leroy Duncan — middleweight (main event) - Matheus Camilo vs. Jai Herbert — lightweight - Loopy Godinez vs. Ketlen Souza — women’s strawweight (Godinez billed No. 8) - Andre Fili vs. Kai Kamaka III — featherweight - Malcolm Wellmaker vs. Otari Tanzilovi — bantamweight
Prelims on the event page (seven bouts)
- Julius Walker vs. Gerald Meerschaert — light heavyweight (moved from the main card) - Francisco Prado vs. Ismael Bonfim — lightweight - Niko Price vs. Leon Shahbazyan — welterweight - Felipe Franco vs. Brendson Ribeiro — light heavyweight - Allen Frye Jr. vs. RJ Harris — heavyweight - Alice Pereira vs. Daria Zhelezniakova — women’s bantamweight (Zhelezniakova billed No. 15) - Ernesta Kareckaitė vs. Melissa Gatto — women’s flyweight
None of those bouts are championship fights on the event page.
Where the title pictures sit this week
Oct. 10 does not move a belt. The next booked men’s title night remains UFC 333 on Oct. 24 in Abu Dhabi (Volkanovski–Evloev; Yan–Merab 3). Heavyweight and women’s bantamweight titles stay pointed at UFC 334 on Nov. 14 (Gane–Hokit; Harrison–Nunes). Lightweight and light heavyweight unfinished-belt status — Gaethje inactive into 2027 with no interim; Ulberg rehabbing with no interim — is unchanged this week and already covered in live packages.
Bottom line
Allen–Duncan is the fight-week main event at Meta APEX on Oct. 10: ranked middleweight depth, not a title fight. As of Tuesday the event page runs a five-bout main card, with Walker–Meerschaert moved to the prelims and the same 12 fights overall. Tuesday’s media-panel rankings update left the main-event ranks unchanged and added Zhelezniakova at No. 15. Title nights stay on the October–November numbered cards.
